  • Jenni Kutsch

    Club Director/ 17s Head Coach

    Jenni Kutsch, co-founder of TVC, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the program. She serves as the head coach of the 17s team and is also the co-varsity coach at South High School. A former standout middle blocker at Cal State Fullerton, Jenni’s dedication and expertise continue to inspire and elevate players at every level.

  • Miya Palompo

    17s Assistant Coach

    Coach Miya has been a valuable part of our TVC since we founded our club. She has spent many years post grad coaching various levels at both South Highschool and TVC. Miya recently decided to come back to TVC after spending time at Medical school in Boston, MA. We are excited to have her back as a 17s head coach.

  • Alec Nakamura

    17s Assistant Coach

    Alec Nakamura, a former player and coach at North, has been a valued member of the TVC coaching staff for the past two years. His experience and dedication have greatly benefited our program, and we’re thrilled to have him contribute his knowledge and passion for the game.

  • Nicole Cordova

    16s Head Coach

    Coach Nicole Cordova played at both El Camino College and Sonoma State. She’s been coaching club volleyball since 1993 and is currently coaching our TVC 16s team. Her coaching experience also extends to high school girls’ volleyball as she started in 1997 and has coached for South High and Chadwick. She now teaches physical education at Chadwick School.

  • Kori Kutsch

    Kori Kutsch

    16s Head Coach

    Coach Kori is a well recognized athlete who took the role as the starting setter at Alabama State University from 2015-2018. There she led her team to the NCAA tournament for three consecutive year. Kori is a competitive asset we are happy to have as our 16s head coach. She currently works a Occupational Therapist in the south bay.

  • Hannah Arquisch

    15s Co-Coach

    Coach Hannah is going on her third year coaching at TVC, but seventh year coaching volleyball. She currently is an assistant varsity coach for the South High Girls volleyball team where she continues to help their program win league successfully year after year. Last year Hannah was our TVC 16s head coach where she led her team to winning their division at the end of the year Phoenix Volleyball Festival. She is currently a local school counselor at Arnold Elementary.

  • Kelby Fowler

    15s Assistant Coach

    Coach Kelby played at Jacksonville State University and is now on her third year at TVC now as a head coach for our 13s team. Kelby currently works at Calle Mayor Middle School as a P.E teacher and volleyball coach.

  • Mikayla Clark

    15s Assistant Coach

    Mikayla Clark is going to be the assistant coach for the 15s team this year. She graduated from South High School in 2016, and finished her volleyball career at El Camino College. There she played both beach and indoor volleyball. She started coaching in 2018 for Nfinity VBC as well as the head coach for the Frosh/Soph team for her Alma mater, South High School. Along with coach, she is a certified personal trainer/conditioning coach. She is super excited to continue her coaching career here at TVC with her former coaches and teammates.

  • Robert Kutsch

    Director of Coaching / 14s Head Coach

    Coach Kutsch is approaching his 30th season at the helm of the South High volleyball program and recently surpassed the 500 win mark. In that time he has won 13 league championships, made 10 semi-finals appearances, 5 CIF finals appearances, and 5 State appearances. He has also coached teams to two CIF Championships (2004, 2014) and been named Daily Breeze and CIF Coach of the Year twice (2004, 2014). During his tenure, 44 of his players have gone on to play at 4 year colleges/universities.

    His club coaching career started while he was still in college with South Bay volleyball club in 1989. Between then and now he has coached with SCVC, Big Dog, and was the founder of SouthSide Volleyball Club.

    Last season, Robert Kutsch coached his team to 1st place in the 15s division at the Phoenix AAU tournament.

  • Jocelyn Lacroix

    14s Assistant Coach

    Coach Jocelyn played at El Camino College and later on went to be a star beach player at Texas A&M Corpus Christy. She was a key factor in her team winning their conference in 2022. We are super excited to have Jocelyn in the TVC family as the 14s assistant coach.

  • Jordan Heard

    14s Assistant Coach

    Jordan started playing club volleyball when she was 14, which gave her the foundation to play at a collegiate level at Whittier College. She played multiple positions but found a home as a setter. Beyond playing, she has been coaching since high school, working closely with her college coach. This experience has given me a passion for mentoring players and helping them reach their full potential.

  • Amanda Henderson

    13s Head Coach

    Amanda played one season at Fullerton Junior College, both indoors and on the beach, before transferring to the indoor program at Long Beach State. She served as an assistant coach at UC Riverside in 2022, followed by a position at El Camino in 2023, where she currently assists with both indoor and sand volleyball. Amanda is truly excited to witness the growth and skill development of our athletes. Her goal is to nurture a passion for volleyball in the younger teams while supporting the older girls as they strive to reach their full potential, leaving a positive and lasting impact on both the players and their families.

  • Jesi Diekmann

    13s Assistant Coach

    Jesi Diekmann, a former middle blocker at South High and Cal State Dominguez Hills, is currently a coach for Chadwick Volleyball. She is also pursuing a master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, combining her passion for volleyball with a dedication to personal development and support.

  • Beverly Hazell

    Tides Head Coach

    Coach Bev Hazell played for El Camino and Cal State East Bay. She’s been coaching club volleyball since 2015 and also has experience head-coaching the West High varsity team. She’s been coaching high school volleyball since 2012, and is now teaching history at Bishop Montgomery High School.

  • Erin Cermak

    12s Head Coach

    Coach Erin spent all of last year establishing our TVC tides group. After working with the Tides, we are more than happy to have her as our 12s head coach. Erin currently is teaching and coaching volleyball at Chadwick School.

  • Lindsey Colbert

    Tides Assistant Coach

    Lindsey Colbert is returning for her third year here at TVC. She has been playing volleyball since she was young at parks and rec, from there moved on to club, high school, and finally college volleyball. She started her coaching career at the City of Lomita, and then moved on to coaching high school. She is currently the head jv coach at west high along side our other TVC coaches Jenn Haney and Bev hazzell. Lindsey played volleyball at el Camino college where fellow TVC coach, liz hazzell was her assistant coach. She loves coaching and seeing the kids improve while also implementing her love for the game into the younger generation. She is excited to go back into season and seeing TVC continue to grow.

  • Nathan Jones

    Coach Advisor

    Coach Nate Jones played at El Camino College. He has been coaching club volleyball and high school volleyball since 1992 and is currently the head coach for Torrance High’s boys’ varsity volleyball team. He also works at Torrance as a social science teacher and is the activities director there as well.
